Introduction
Restaurant Manager SQL (RMSQL) Report Manager is a data driven, reporting solution utilizing MS SQL Server Reporting Services. RMSQL enables the creation, management, and delivery of both Excel and interactive, Web-based reports.RMSQL Report Manager requires Restaurant Manager version 18.
RMSQL Report Manager can be used by either individual or Multi unit restaurants. Individual restaurants can benefit from RMSQL custom reporting abilities. RMSQL is ideal for multi-unit restaurants looking for combined or individual unit data from a single report source. Multi-unit sales and labor data is mined using ASI's Central Manager program in conjunction with RMSQL. Version 18 must be used at all sites when using Central Manager.
This document is limited to providing instructions for installation and configuring RMSQL. Additional instructions cover the scheduling data export and viewing reports in both Excel and HTML formats. Instructions for installing Restaurant Manager version 18 and Microsoft Office 2010 are not provided in this document. Please refer to each software's installation guides for specific instructions. Any custom reporting responsibilities is assumed by users and instructional for creating reports is not covered in this document.
