Requirements

RMSQL Reports require the installation of additional software. Most of the additional software is free of charge with the exception of Microsoft Office 2010. However, Office 2010 is only needed to create custom reports.

Restaurant Manager Requirements

• Restaurant Manager Version 18
• RMSQL User Interface
• RM Central Manager when more than one site exists.

Windows Requirements

• Windows IIS

SQL Server Requirements

• MS SQL Server Express 2008 R2 with Advanced Services
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
• Windows Power Shell
• Microsoft Windows Installer 4.5

Additional Requirements

The following software is needed only if you wish to do custom reporting in an Excel format.

• Microsoft Office 2010 (specifically Excel)
• Power Pivot

Windows Operating Systems

The following Windows operating systems are recommended for RMSQL:

• Windows XP Pro
• Windows 7 Pro
• 2008 Server
• 2003 Server

Note: both XP and Windows 7 32 or 64 bit operating systems may be used. However, at this time, ASI recommends using 32 bit systems.
