Requirements

The following is a list of software and hardware requirements for processing credit cards via NETePay.

Restaurant Manager Requirements

• The latest Restaurant Manager v19 build or later

• RM Credit Card Module

NETePay Requirements

• NETePay 5.0 installations are priced and configured per lane (Lane is a paypoint at which a credit card can be swiped/accepted). Datacap recommends one lane per station.

• Deployment ID- after you have submitted your paperwork, ASI will issue you a Deployment ID that you need during the setup process.

Software Requirements

• Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 10 Pro, Windows Server 2012 or 2008. All latest updates and hotfixes should be applied. (Note Windows 2003 Server is no longer support by Microsoft effective July 2015 affecting PCI compliance)

• Microsoft Internet Explorer with 128-bit encryption, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher recommended

• Firewall present and running

• Aniti-virus installed and running

Hardware Requirements

• 4 GB of RAM minimum

• 500 GB of available hard-disk space

• Available COM port (if using dial backup or dial primary communications)

• Datacap DialLink modem (if using dial backup or dial primary communications)

Network Requirements

• TCP/IP network connectivity.

• Persistent Internet Connection. A backup power supply is suggested for the router and computer to insure continuous operation.

• You should implement static IP's on all POS stations processing credit cards. Failure to do so may result is "205 Invalid Processor" error.
